Alumni Newsletters

As it began in 1914, a permanently organize on the Alumni Association of the American School for the Deaf was acted by a principal, Mr. Frank Wheeler, an old named as an Executive Director. Mr. John Moran was elected as a first president of the Alumni Association. When they formed again, the folks who graduated between 1890 and 1914 were still living in their beyond 50 years of age. At the meeting, they exchanged their thoughts and suggestions then realized that there were 1000 of Alumni that scattered all over the New England States, there were some questions wherever they may go....unknown answers of ourselves. Mr. John Moran believed that the sons and daughters shall know what their school "Alma Mater" is doing.

Awake! Awake! Alumni! Need support the principal of the school and the president of the Alumni Association and go on and on. Let us have the beginning of alumni that will never ending! "1917 is near" and "the Alma Mater" the mother of A.S.D. will be their 100th Anniversary since 1817".
